Porsche brings its electrification ambitions to two wheels.

The German automaker launched two electric bicycles on Thursday, as well as the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, the latest world premiere of its EV flagship.

It is said that these two electric bicycles are inspired by Taycan, which is Porsche's first electric car and created its broader EV ambitions. Although the underlying inspiration and foundation are the same-all have a full-suspension carbon fiber frame-each bicycle has a slightly different purpose and customer. His bicycle is a collective effort. They were developed in collaboration with eBike expert Rotwild and use components from famous bicycle parts manufacturers Shimano, Magura and Crankbrothers. Porsche's high-end design style (saliva and polish) and customers can get luxury electric bicycles priced between US$8,500 and US$10,700.

Both Porsche electric bicycles are manufactured in Diebold, Germany. They will be sold at Porsche dealers and some professional bicycle shops this spring. There are three frame sizes.

The Porsche eBike Sport is priced at US$10,700, while the "cheap" Porsche eBike Cross is priced at US$8,549.

Porsche eBike Sport is designed for everyday riders. The bike is equipped with a new Shimano EP8 motor, which provides motor support up to 25 km/h (approximately 15 mph), Shimano electronic shifting system and Magura high-performance brakes integrated in the handlebars. This sports bike also features Supernova's M99 LED lights, which are embedded in the handlebars and aerodynamic seatpost.
In addition, the Magura inverted suspension front fork and Fox rear shock absorber and other high-quality suspension components combined with smooth running tires can maintain a balanced movement on asphalt or gentle terrain.
At the same time, the Porsche eBike Cross is designed for riders who may be looking for rough roads. Cross has a new motor developed by Shimano, Magura-MT Trail high-performance brakes, an oversized heat-resistant brake disc for deceleration, and a mechanical Shimano XT 12x transmission system for fast shifting. The seatpost can be adjusted hydraulically by Crankbrothers. The handlebar also has a Shimano color display, which can display not only the speed, but also the distance and range in real time.
